My wife, who like myself just loves a good margarita from time to time is pregnant right now, so naturally she has been absent in consumption of any recently. So this afternoon I decided to make her a margarita myself. I had 2 challenges, I needed the quality of flavor of a product that tasted complete, while also being a relative to the margarita. I could not just buy a sour mix, since that would be incomplete... Here was my recipe which she loved.
8 Key Limes - juiced
1 Lemon - juiced
1/2 Cup Sugar
4 Cups Ice Cubes
1 Cup Water
Mixed in blender to an "Icee" like consistency. It was delicious.
My next kitchen project is going to be "Swiss Oatmeal" like she enjoyed yesterday morning at Corner Bakery. I think this recipe seems to be the most similar to their's.
