2008 Republican Watch

I am Going To demonstrate why the 8 Top Contenders For 2008 Republican Nomination can't win and look at what that means for 2008.

8. Ron Brown - Powerful lover of liberty, too extreme for most moderates even within the Republican party itself.

7. Jeb Bush - Popularity comes as a Bush - Media hates him for family ties.

6. John Ashcroft - Media will make sure he is seen as the intolerant fascist picture of Republicanism they like paint. He comes with too much baggage, and to much fodder.

5. John McCain - Popular with Media but too Moderate for Christian Republican's tastes.

4. George Pataki - Not enough name recognition outside of New York.

3. Chuck Haegel - All American from Midwest - Great look and resume but lacks any national posture to launch a serious campaign from.

2. Condelezza Rice - The Media's Most Hated African American Woman. She is already a media sniper target and the media's hatred of an educated successful African American would only become more pugnent during a Condi run.

1. Rudy Guilliani - Can America's Mayor transition to America's leader? I think a Guilliani campaign would reveal the emperor's real clothing.

This list demonstrates the sad reality of a 2008 democratic victory. Any one of Hillary, Dean, Kerry, Jackson Jr, Edwards, or General Clark could claim the top post in 2008, and the republicans have nothing to offer in opposition.

A Prayer For Burns

I was contacted a little bit ago, to let me know that one of the children (a little younger then Ella) had scalded herself VERY BADLY and was be rushed by Delnor to Loyola in the city for immediate help. Please pray for the Henderson family as they deal with this horrible issue.

The Last Winter Cold

I have a cold... Not the little ones you easily dismiss as an annoyance. No this one of those knock your socks off, BOYUA, You are gonna be miserable, hang around for days types. I have had it since Tuesday, but today it has hit what I must imagine is the climax of it's bodily persecution. I am not at all a happy Kevin!!!

Kinko's - It's About Time

I have (among many thousands of other people I assume) put in many request to Kinko's over the years to have a feature where I could send a job from my computer to them from my office. The suggestion always seemed toi be to na avail.
Yesterday, Kinkos relased the File, Print FedEx Kinko's print driver that does just that, and does it as easily as using any other printer installed on your system.

This is a great day for Kinko's and for mobile workers everywhere!!! I mean let's say I have a super who needs to hand a paper report to a job site superintendent, I simply send the report to the Kinko's nearest to him, he picks it up and delivers it just like that. Now that's effiency!

Yahoo! Netrospective: 10 years, 100 moments of the Web

For Yahoo's 10th birthday they have compiled a very cool
Yahoo! 100 moments of the Web. It is very neat witgh a few noteable exceptions.

1. Where is Google? - That is definitely an internet moment. The site that change the way we search????

2. Where is Blogger? - The most popular blogging site on the internet... seemingly forgotten?

3. Where is Adwords? - Now this is most offensive, it shows Overture, Yahoo's ripoff of Adwords, but conviently fails to mention the competion that created the craze.

4. Where is Itunes? - Where is IMDB? - Compete with Yahoo and your moment in Web history is unimportant and forgotten. I say don't make a "100 Moments" if you don't have the guts to face the greatness of your competitors.

Sweet Gestures On The Home Front

I was sitting in the living room waching my 2 girls when Ella climbed in my lap. About 30 seconds later Anna began to cry. I asked my headstrong lap dweller what she thought we should do about Anna's crying, to which she replied, "let her sit here instead." I was like OHHHHHH.. as my little monster deomstrated what s great heart she has under that LOUD persona.

Schiavo- Pro-Life / Pro-Choice You should be ashamed

As CNN.com continues to post their updates to the GROSS tug of war over the life of Terri Schiavo I am going to say what no one else you. "TO SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!!!"

I do not know what the answers are to her individual case. I do know that to make a permanently disabled human into a mascot for the pro-life agenda is disgusting, as well as to use another person as a pro-euthenasia sacrifice is equally as sickening to me.

I think this entire discussion is REPLUSIVE!!!

Are There Better Orchards In TiVo's Future?

TiVo surges on speculation of Apple's interest is the headline that is appearing all over the internet as the company that was saved by a 3.5" inch revolution.

When I-Pod became a reality there were other MP3 player on the market that were cheaper, and Apple managed to make a revolution out of them. I believe that the I-TiVo will be the savior of this WONDERFUL technology.

Winterfest 2005 - A Trip With The Kids

I took the teens to Winterfest this weekend. It was great. I had a 14 hour drive there and a 12 hour drive back in the bus with Ella. Christi and Anna had to stay behind because Anna was throwing up.
Ella was much better on the bus than I thought she would be. We were watching LOTR: Return of the King for a while and she was really into who the characters were.

Once Again I Return

Just a kwik note to let the world know I am living. I am going with the youth group at our Church to Winterfest this weekend. Hopefully I will have some time to post then. Life has just been a CRAZY ride.
