I am not surprised I was a Taoist. When I left Christianity in High School I considered myself a Taoist. It was actually a person who identified themself as a Taoist Christian that helped lead me back to Christ. Taoism is a spiritual journey and I belive we "emergent types" see our Christna walk as a journey not as a religion. That makes us answer questions in a way that seems more Taoist than Christian to a simple quiz like that.

I actually got myself in a TON of trouble at our church camp 2 years ago. I was explaining John 1:1 and told the kids a very postmodern group, that the BEST translation of that passage in a way our culture can understand is "In the begining was the Tao, the Tao was with God and the Tao was God." The greek idea of Logos or The Word is an almost philosophically equivillant idea to the eastern idea of the Tao.
